Restore a purchase
Bought the $9 unlock and it’s gone after a reinstall or on a new phone?
- Open Store Brand, tap the menu, then Flavours & settings.
- Tap Restore purchase. It’s also on the “That’s 2 for today” screen.
- Check the phone is signed in to the Apple ID that bought it.
Family Sharing members restore the same way, with their own Apple ID. There is no Store Brand account, so there’s nothing to sign in to.
What counts as a play
Every game gives you two free plays a day. A play is spent on your first move in a new puzzle, not when you open the game or look at the board. One play of WORDS is a run of 4 levels.
Plays come back at midnight, your time. With the unlock there are no limits.
How the daily works
Each game has one puzzle of the day, the same for everyone, numbered from day 1 on 2026-10-03. It is always free and never spends a play. A new one arrives at midnight, your time. On the web, at /play, the daily is the puzzle you get.
